As you’re reading this, I’m on a flight to Miami. I’m heading down to speak at Wellist Week, an event focused on longevity, health and sustainability.

At its core, the event is about how we want to live, why we want to live that way, and what we’re actually going to do about it.

And that got me thinking, because for me, it all comes down to this:

I want to do what I want, when I want, with who I want, for as long as I want. I want a life filled with experiences that actually mean something. The moments that stick. The ones you remember.

What brings me the most joy is being around great people doing great things. That’s what builds your life’s résumé.

Even at an event like this, the speaking part is secondary to me. I enjoy it, but I really come for the people. The conversations. The early morning workouts. The walks to dinner. Being around individuals from completely different backgrounds who show up with energy, curiosity and a willingness to lean into something new.

That’s how I make decisions.

As you hit midlife, you come to the realization that everything is a choice. And the quality of your life comes down to the actions you take and the choices you make.

So I want to share something with you. Something I’m genuinely excited about. And then I’m going to ask you to make a choice.

One of the most common questions I get asked is how to actually maximize midlife. Not manage it. Not survive it. Actually live it.

Here’s the answer.

You do cool shit with cool people. You put yourself in environments that challenge you, push you just outside your comfort zone, and remind you what you’re capable of.

That’s exactly what this next Midlife Male Excellent Adventure is about.

This June, Jon and I are bringing it to Houston.

There are only two XPT performance pools in the United States. One is at Laird Hamilton’s house. The other is at Shadow Sanctuary in Houston. That’s where we’re going.

We’re putting together a full weekend of XPT pool training, workouts, recovery sessions, incredible food from a private chef, and time with a group of high quality men who like to take on challenges and have a great time doing it.

That’s the point.

It’s not about being the best swimmer. You just need to be comfortable in the water. It’s not about experience. Most guys haven’t done anything like this before. And it’s definitely not about all the reasons you can come up with not to go.

Those will always be there.

This is about committing to something that matters. When you put something on your calendar, it becomes real. You give yourself something to look forward to. You meet people who are on the same path. And you have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

When I think about how I want to live in my 40s, 50s, and beyond, this is it.

Don’t talk about it. Be about it.

We keep these events small. They’re usually reserved for my inner circle and coaching clients. But I’m opening up 10 spots for this one.

If this speaks to you, take action. All the information is on the link below.
