We’re ready. 💪🏼

In January I was off to the races…

I had raised $1 million, hired a big name consultant and set out to build a new website, launch a new podcast, launch the inner circle group and scale all of it, while also continuing my schedule of speaking, coaching, writing and more. It’s fair to say that I had my business life firing on all cylinders.

And my personal life? That was all systems go, too.

I started JiuJitsu, was training like a lunatic in the gym, took on new challenges, was putting on muscle after 50 and had dialed in both my nutrition and recovery.

Mentally, I was damn focused, operating at a pace that was unlike anything I’d put myself through the last three years. I even started seeing a therapist to balance things out and maybe help me work through some of my inner shit.

Then in February, the wheels started coming off

In February, I got hurt and lost the use of my arm for a month. ⁣

By early March I realized I’d made an expensive and time-consuming hiring misstep that I had to deal with and face head-on.

By late March I fired my therapist who was creating additional problems for me to work through rather than resolving old ones.

April revealed I’d over committed to what I could pull off for my group coaching program, yet I was still hell bent on overdelivering.

May proved to me that I’d completely lost focus on 1:1 coaching outreach. I saw my first significant dip in new client inquiries and bookings in two years.  ⁣

In June, we missed the target launch date for the new website and podcast. But in a twist of good fortune, I’d gotten 85% usage of my arm back, which helped improve my overall state of mind.

And throughout all of this, there’s been one North Star I’ve been hanging my hat on this entire time. One goal I’ve never lost sight of and never stopped working towards (even with one arm!) that I am beyond proud to announce:

The launch of the new Midlife Male website, podcast and Sunday flagship digital magazine.

This is the next evolution of MLM… It’s MLM 2.0, an upgraded, unabashed, unparalleled media brand for midlife men by midlife men.

  • The team has been assembled.

  • The content is razor sharp.

  • The effort I’ve been through personally and that our team has been through collectively is well worth it.

And I can’t wait to show you next Sunday when we launch the digital magazine and it shows up in your inbox for the first time…

Here’s to hard work paying off…

Here’s to putting these past six months behind us and reaching the starting line for the rest of our lives…

Here’s to the new Midlife Male!

Together, we’ll unlock the potential of these pivotal years and create lives we’re truly excited to live.⁣

See you next week!
