I can’t believe my youngest just started his senior year of High School. Of course, like most people, this makes me nostalgic for when he was a little kid; when we were both younger.
Like you, I sometimes get tired of hearing speakers talk about the “importance of finding my why.”
But you know what? If you want to know the answer to everything I choose to do or not do, it’s right here:
My family is my “why.” Been that way since the day our first son was born.
There are a lot of definitions of family, but I like this one best:
Family provides love, support, and a framework of values to each of its members.
Family members teach each other, serve one another, and share life’s joys and sorrows.
Family provides a setting for personal growth.
Family is the single most important influence in a child’s life.
There’s a reason it’s always the first “F”.
